The term "left" comes from the beginnings of the French Revo-lution, when the king imposed a form of parliament, the States General in 1789. Members of the nobility sat to the right of the president and defending the special courts, the tradition and monarchy. Members of the seats on the left called for the disappearance of the monopoly held by the government in certain areas of the economy end of the charters by which the nobility could not be prosecuted for acts against a poor, education for the masses science-based, secular state, and in general, everything that today makes up a democratic regime.
Why did that happen? Because the new productive forces unleashed by science transformed into technology (the Industrial Revolution) were breaking the straitjacket of the old statist legislation, bans full of new businesses. The process was analyzed by Marx in abundance. In short, the "third state", with seats to the left, representing the emerging economic forces, oppressed by legal restrictions to trade and investment. It was inspired by the Enlightenment: that generous intellectual who had written the first encyclopedia, summary of scientific knowledge. In the States General, the sitting to the left wing was struggling for freedom of trade, investment, association, expression, religion, and equality of citizens before the law and social services for the homeless. In this attitude is inspired Washington, Hidalgo and Bolivar to propose independence from Europe and democratic republics monarchies rather than to rule the new American countries.
The Mexican left came to power On our left forgotten ethics: a government that called itself the left, led by López Obrador in Mexico City, did everything, absolutely everything against what we were on the left: we demanded public works concession for open bidding and competition, with transparent prices and costs: López Obrador delivered his magnum opus, the second floor, the companies he decided to change and political support (they were the "good entrepreneurs" who were marching when he asked, because he gave and took away contracts at will). Then, to prevent the application of the Law on Transparency in costs by billions, he managed to René Bejarano, head of the Legislature, state secrets do those numbers, those books, up to ten years. Why, why hide? We only know that thousands of millions of dollars, but payments will be on the safe López for ten years.
And what did Gustavo Ponce, Secretary of Finance of López Obrador, playing in Las Vegas every three weeks? He is in prison because he stopped the PGR, not the capital police. He could not miss his office without authorization from the head, López Obrador. What was Ponce to Las Vegas? What was the official entrusted with? Lopez will be what, less silly. His secretary of finance made him a job. Ponce Encinas, recognizing him, and fled: "Everything I did with Andrew's knowledge." The whistle to escape Lopez had given him urgent news conference. The federal government has to Ponce in federal prison. But the PAN demonstrates every day that is green to exercise power and is "fully Palace." Ponce case management has been nil. Instead, there are people who still claims that there was fraud but no one has managed to explain, nor López, how committed a fraud-proof system. Was the coup.
Whoever said "indestructible" came to the baseness to accuse their representatives have been sold box, could not give a single name or the amount for which sold. And yet, managed to install the fraud in the collective belief of millions. Now do the same: it requires transparency in contracts for 40 million the same character that denies us transparency in the billions. Requires who never gave them accounts for the contributions of pirate taxis, street vendors, by Pancho Villa who served the PRI and the PRD now because they serve the highest bidder.
A Mouriño not sink Lopez's complaint, it plunges the eternal suspicion of Mexicans who can not believe that have a principle of democracy, that his enemies are the unions of electricians and oil, not investors in Cuba explore and exploit oil fields in China and produce electricity without thereby Cuba and China are disappearing.
